Bury the Hatchet By Barbara LeBey, May-June 2003 : Don't let a long-standing grudge come between you and someone you love.

Bury the Hatchet with Forgiveness Gifts

Most people have heard the term "Bury the Hatchet"...like " lets mend the fences " or " lets forgive and forget ". Well, may be someone could come with up a special gift that would really convey the message. Actually, I have a cousin who did just that. He has been after me to put some up on the web for him so this is my first attempt.

What he has are finally crafted "coffins" with small hatchets inside the coffin so you can send it to someone and say "hey, lets bury the hatchet" and convey your message very graphically. They are not small miniature things either, so this forgiveness gift should packet a wallop. It not just a small 50 cents trinket you see, the boxes (coffins) are at least 10 to 12 inches long and 3 or 4 inches deep--more or less. If you really want to bury the hatchet with someone, this gift can snow you mean business. They are not small token gifts by any means.

I have nothing to show you all yet, but give me a day or two and I will.
